Kids in the Kitchen: Sushi and Stir Fry
We are bringing back a kids cooking class this spring. If you have kids ages 9-14 who like to cook and want to improve their skills, this hands-on class will have them making you dinner! Students will join Chef Mataio in the kitchen to learn the secret to delicious sushi rice, practice knife skills on sushi fillings and roll their own sushi to eat! Then, choose some favorite vegetables and add marinated chicken to make stir-fry with yakisoba noodles. Don't forget dessert--melonpan--a Japanese sweet bun filled with ice cream, for dessert!
